Our Activities

TPG plans and operates a wide variety of events throughout the year. Among them, we have been hosting Wakaba Festival, one of the largest student exchange events for new students on campus, every year. In addition, we organize events such as TakiBar, which attracts many international students, TakiFes, where music-related clubs perform, board game creation workshops held in small groups, and origami workshops. For details about our past events, please see this page.

As of July 2025, TPG consists of 76 members. We are divided into five teams: the Event Team, Community Team, Creative Team, Management Team, and System Team. Our members are undergraduate students (up to third-year) of the Institute of Science Tokyo, including international students. We hold activities once a week, and our activity room on the basement floor (B2) of Taki Plaza is usually lively, with members spending time there daily.

Social Activities

To encourage interaction beyond teams and year levels, TPG regularly hosts social events such as group activities, networking parties, and retreats.
In our group activities, members enjoy various activities with different teammates each quarter—for example, visiting local bakeries around Ookayama during lunch breaks or taking day trips together.
Every summer, we also hold a three-day, two-night retreat. This year, we visited Ito in Shizuoka Prefecture, where members deepened their friendships through activities such as BBQ parties, fireworks, and bingo games.
As for networking events, the Management Team mainly plans and organizes gatherings by year level as well as events for all members. These include activities like puzzle-solving events and picnics in Odaiba.
In addition to what is introduced here, TPG members often organize team-based or informal social activities on their own. We hope you will also take a look at the introduction pages for each team!
