Community Team

The Community Team is one of the five teams that make up TPG. This team plans a wide variety of events with the goal of fostering communities within Taki Plaza, constantly taking on new challenges through diverse activities.

Our Activities

The Community Team aims to create opportunities for people to connect with one another. We plan workshops and events that allow students to meet new people and form new communities.
For example, in the second quarter of the previous academic year, we held an international exchange event called “Summer Wagashi Workshop”, where international and Japanese students could interact while making traditional Japanese sweets. Participants made seasonal sweets such as Minazuki and Kohakuto, and the event was enjoyed by many students.
In addition, during the welcome period this academic year, we organized a New Student Exchange Event to help first-year students get to know one another and encourage the formation of new communities. Over two days, more than 300 new students participated and deepened their connections through various games and activities.

Social Activities

The Community Team is made up of many free-spirited members. While we do not organize social outings very frequently, we often go out for meals together after events to strengthen our connections. We also hold social gatherings several times a year—going to places like Enoshima, Joypolis, or renting spaces for casual get-togethers. In fact, we might be having more fun than it seems!
